About the Jumbo Lump Crabcakes: "These are simply the best. Anywhere. Period. End of Story"
"a Coconut Shrimp Martini. Wonderful."
"...most perfectly cooked scallops I have ever tasted." "The steak with crabmeat and bearnaise sauce is a
really great flavor combination."
"This is by far the best house salad I've had in any
local restaurant!"

"...some of the best food on the North Carolina coast!"

Patrick Hogan, owner and chef, has a passion for fresh seafood in its purest form. The restaurant has only twelve tables and each dish is prepared fresh. "Our most requested dish is the Maryland crab cakes," he said, "and we have customers who return here often for them because they say this is the only place they can find them."

Dining at Carltons' is a culinary adventure in a pleasant
and relaxing atmosphere. The decor is understated with
flowers in beautiful cobalt blue vases and coast artworks
on the walls. The paintings by local artists are consistently
good, ever changing and always for sale. And, of course,
the food is outstanding! Come eat, drink and enjoy!
